SUPER-PACK
High quality and precision Underpacking sheet for plate and blanket cylinder holders for optimal pressure in printing presses.

“SUPER PACK” underpacking sheets ensure the most accurate precision when the highest reliability is required of plate and printing blanket underpacking.

CUT-TO-SIZE ORDERS:
“SUPER-PACK” Underpacking sheets can be supplied in any size for any printing press.
ROOL ORDERS: on specific request “SUPER-PACK” underpacking can be supplied in standard 50 kg. rolls or in “Jumbo” rolls of 500 kg. in the following widths: 800mm - 930mm-1270mm

The adhesive used on POLIPACK is repositionable, but with high shear strength that prevents the slippage or creaping seen normally with paper press packing. Specially treated polyesters create the best possible polyester/adhesive interface ensuring easy, clean removal of the underpacking from the cylinder (most of the adhesive will come away with the polyester press packing when the cylinder is warm).

POLIPACK AA: glossy back side. Strong self-adhesive suitable for sheet fed and web presses.

POLIPACK MT-AA: Matte back side. Strong self-adhesive suitable for high speed web presses.

STICKY BACK FOILS

Underpacking Polyester&Paper - POLIPACK PS, POLIPACK NA, POLIPACK MT
and POLIPACK AA

The best press packing product to suit each application:
Paper (POLIPACK PS) press packing used when there is a need for a relatively soft and pliable packing medium typically under the printing blanket.
We carry non-adhesive (POLIPACK NA) polyester for our customers who change frequently the packing gauge. Polyester in used when the packing needs to be a little tougher, as it is typically under the plate.
We carry adhesive polyester (POLIPACK AA) for our customers who use always the same packing thickness and require fast plate changes.
We have also developed a matte polyester (POLIPACK MT) with adhesive to be used for long run high speed web application. The matte surface increases the friction between the plate and the packing reducing to a minimum the risk of the packing slipping under the plate.


POLIAPACK PS  is a paper press packing product:
  - Engineered to exact specifications
  - Uniform caliper edge to edge
  - Anti-slip coating
  - Extremely high density for durability
  - Long lasting
  - Economical 
  - Available in sheets and rolls.

POLIPACK NA  is a hazy, heat resistant true gauge PET film, with excellent surface and thickness uniformity: +/_ 5% from 1 to 8 mil gauges, +/_2% from 9 to 14 mil gauge.
  - Dimensionally stable Polyester
  - Accurate packing for either plate or blanket cylinder
  - No swelling, will not absorb moisture or liquids.
  - Durable, resistant to harsh chemicals
  - No physical degradation through time 
  - Available in sheets and rolls up to 60± (1500mm)

POLIPACK AA adhesive PET  Our adhesive is formulated for the best shear strength to eliminate
slippage yet with a medium tack so that the packing is easily removed without leaving any adhesive residues on the cylinder.
  - Dimensionally stable Polyester
  - Accurate packing for either plate or blanket cylinder
  - No swelling, will not absorb moisture or liquids.
  - Durable, resistant to harsh chemicals
  - Available in sheets and rolls up to 66 ± (1680mm)!!!!

POLIPACK MT and adhesive PET  with a matte surface to increase the friction with the plate
  - All the same characteristics as Polipack AA
  - No slippage in high speed/long run web applications.
  - Available in sheets and rolls up to 54 ± (1370mm)
