Under Packing For Plate

The press packing is used when there is a need for a relatively soft packing medium

typically under the printing blanket, Polyester is used when the packing needs to be a little

tougher, as it is typically under the plate. We have adhesive polyester for our cusotmers who

use always the same packing thickness and require fast plate changes and we carry non-

adhesive polyester for our customers who change frequently the packing guage. We also

have matte polyester with adhesive to be used for long run high speed sheet and web

application. The matte surface increases the friction between the plate and the packing

reducing to a minimum risk of the packing slipping under the plate.

Non-Adhesive Polyester Film:-

It is a hazy, heat resistant true gauge PET film, with excellent surface and thickness uniformity.

• Dimensionally stable polyester film.

• No swelling due to damping solution. 

• High bond shear strength of the adhesive for a long lasting adhesion on the cylinder without displacement.

•  High temperature resistance of the adhesive up to 60°C.

• Easy handling achieved by a micro groove structure of the surface of the adhesive.

• Low initial bond strength for mounting, therefore foil can easily be remounted.

• Good resistance of the adhesive against printing media.

• Product combination is free of PVC and heavy metals therefore easy disposal with combustion and depository.

Adhesive Polyester Film:-

The adhesive is formulated for the best shear strength to eliminate slippage yet with a medium

tack so that the packing is easily removed without leaving any adhesive residues on the cylinder.

Matte Polyester Adhesive Film:-

It is to increase the friction with the plate.
